What I do?

Designer is such a vague term. Anyone can be considered a designer. I consider myself a software and graphic designer. It's an interesting evaluation of one's skillset. No I'm not saying I can freehand a masterpiece that would rival the Mona Lisa. I like to leave those tasks to the artists among us. I'm the guy that thinks big picture, bringing large and small things into perspective in a way they will affect the product to the best of their ability.
